Imagination and learning come together in our Creative Play programs, every school holidays in the Western Foyer.
At Sydney Opera House we understand that the early years are a key time for a child’s physical, emotional, social and intellectual development. In 2012 we are committed to giving children of all learning levels and styles the opportunity to get the most out of their Sydney Opera House experience. Our free Creative Play programs enable active and engaged learning for children through exploration, play, creativity and imagination. Our trained educators and facilitators will lead and support your children throughout the creative play process, encouraging them to participate, learn and develop their own creativity.
April School Holidays
Wed 11th - Thu 22nd April
Transport yourself to an exotic, unknown island and join us for some adventure and mystery. Delight your imagination and get involved in ‘choose your own’ adventure activities - from dramatic storytelling to crazy crafts. Suitable for ages 4 – 12.

Creative Play open: 9am - 4pm (Craft activities and reading corner all day)
Storytelling Sessions: 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm (30 minutes each)
Thursday 19 April - Sunday 22 April
Creative Play open: 9am - 4pm (Craft activities and reading corner all day)
Storytelling Sessions: 10am, 12.30pm (30 minutes each)
Escape From Peligro Island: 11am, 1.30pm (65 minutes each) Booking required
