On Sunday 19th Sep 2010, the city will host the Blackmores Sydney Running festival. This is a major event with over 20,000 participants making their way from North Sydney to the Sydney Opera House. As a result there will be extensive road closures around the CBD, North Sydney, Centennial Park and the Sydney Harbour Bridge from 4am.
The roads will progressively open from 11am.
If you have purchased a ticket to an event at the Sydney Opera House on this day we would advise you allow extra time to travel to the SOH and suggest that public transport may be a preferable way to travel.
